Netbook for Gaming? ~ Laptop and PC Games

If you plan to buy netbook to play PC games, perhaps too risky. Actually netbook not suppose to be used for gaming. Netbook is made for mobility, for light software. Even can be used to play some PC games, that’s not heavy one.

Netbook really have limitation for a few application. Netbook is made to cover segment “netting” among laptop and smartphones. Netbook has top at its mobility, as smartphones, but can also be utilized as laptop in general way. Then what highlight that makes netbook can't be utilized to play PC games?

Check on graphic card's specification.

Graphic adapter holds essential role in PC gaming. Graphic adapter is the main part to accelerate PC games. Without a good graphic card, PC games won't be played or sometimes could run with many problem on it.

If you have netbook or laptop, you can see your graphic card at system property. There will be display property, and name of the display card. Usually written Intel, ATI, Nvidia, GeForce, and others.

Each display card have superiority or class. As SIS is on lowest class, followed by Intel and in first class ATI and GeForce. And at any given display card have draw number, one that will differentiate if that display card are on the low-end, even that one belongs to first class adapter, which is ATI or GeForce.

So don't be happy even if your netbook or laptop has display card from ATI or Ge Force. Because that’s card on ordinary class, means on the low-end serial number. It’s not sure that laptop can be utilized to play heavy PC games. Then how to knows if laptop or netbook can be used for gaming, what’s required?

Check system requirements for PC games.

Each PC games has system requirements, so that can be played at netbook or laptop. How? You could googling on Internet by search “system requirements” and “ name of that PC games ”. Usually on that system requirements would be “speed of the prosessor”, then RAM, hardisk space, OS, and most importantly graphic card.

Mostly netbook or laptop have no graphic card which corresponds to system requirements of PC games, particularly for heavy PC games. Perhaps could be played for light PC games. As 2D PC games, that one not need to many graphic card acceleration.

When you choose netbook's type for gaming, usually will be hard to play heavy PC games. You should choose laptop or notebook with good display card, of course had good price too.
